(For anyone who is getting notifications of new blog posts, yes, we're a bit late on this one but we wanted to be sure such as special day was documented for us to look back on.)
Today was the wedding of a very special couple, "Uncle Keith" and Christine. Keith is one of Zach's closest friends from college and is Anna's Godfather. Christine is one of Anna's favorite playmates whenever we get together. We are so happy to have her as part our lives permanently!
There's a long story about how Keith and Christine started dating and what Zach will tell you it all boils down to is that he is the reason they met - even though he was left out of the article published in the Catholic Voice :) See here for an article about how Keith and Christine met and fell in love! Zach decided to try out for the choir being formed to celebrate the opening of the new Cathedral in Oakland. He convinced Justin and Keith to do it to. When they started rehearsals Keith noticed Christine in the group and the rest is history....
Keith and Christine asked Anna and Grace to be part of their wedding ceremony by presenting the Gifts. They also asked Zach to be a groomsman and we were honored to have our family take such a large role in their big day.
Also important is that this is where Anna's now infamous dance move "the frisbee dog" was invented and even documented in this video put together by the videographer (she's about 25 seconds in):
