Only 5 more weeks to go!

I can't believe we are down to only 5 weeks left! Of course that assumes that Baby G arrives right on time which is probably not all that likely... but nevertheless it's a wake up call that soon we will be three! Here is a photo taken of Mommy G at the 35 week mark for those who are curious. Please note: the baby swing is only temporarily in front of the fireplace - we assure you it will be moved once Baby G arrives!

I think Baby G is starting to get very frustrated with her cramped quarters which means Mommy G is also getting frustrated :)

Things have been busy between preparing the house for Baby G's arrival, going to classes and preparing for maternity leave at work - only about 3 weeks left until Mommy G is finished with work. And even more exciting is that fact that Mommy G starts working from home on Monday which means only 2 more rush hour commutes! Very exciting! On Sunday Mommy G took Baby G to church to listen to Daddy G's debut as a cantor at Sunday Mass. He did a great job and Baby G was excited to hear her Daddy's voice amplified throughout the church.

Assuming she is on schedule, Baby G should be more than 5 pounds now and between 16-20 inches! While her nervous system and immune system are still maturing, everything else from her toenails to the hair on her head is fully formed. She's now just about the age at which her friend Cyanne was when she was born!

We're looking forward to the arrival of Nana and Grandpa Herbert as well as Mommy G's cousin Mareesa this weekend. They are coming to the Bay area to celebrate Baby G with our Bay area friends and family on Saturday - we can't wait! (Thanks in advance Ali & Colleen!)
