Santa Barbara Summer Fun

Anna, Andrew and I were lucky enough to spend almost 2 whole weeks in Santa Barbara with Nana and Papa, taking advantage of summer camps and lots of new & different things to do. While even "vacation" is a lot of work with two little ones the change of scenery and getting to spend time with friends and family made it a great two weeks.

 While we were there we were lucky to see RJ, Mareesa, Aliza and Bev visiting from Colorado and San Diego. Anna was so excited to spend time with Aliza!

 Safety Town Summer Camp! I did this same camp almost 30 years ago! Anna learned about all kinds of safety and got visits from the police, paramedics, firefighters and even Smokey the Bear!

 We scooted to the edge of the neighborhood and watched the traffic go by - so exciting!

 While we were away we transitioned Andrew to a bed. But, he needed some barricades around it to make him feel like he was still in his crib. Quite a setup!

We had a ton of fun but the fun didn't stop here! When we finally left Santa Barbara we headed for Pismo Beach to meet Dad for another few days of vacation! Stay tuned...
