Meet Dorothy, the newest addition to our household

Anna's science teacher gave goldfish to all the kids who named the 5 oceans they are currently studying. Sadly, there was not much advance warning that these friends would be coming home so we had a bit of a mad dash to be sure we had everything we needed. I managed to get a small tank from our neighbor so Dorothy could get settled in. We borrowed a larger tank but it needs a bit of cleaning up before it will make a good home.

So far, Dorothy has proved to be a good source of entertainment for the kids - we hope she sticks around for a while!
