3 Year Pediatrician Visit
In the first few years of your child's life it seems as if you are ALWAYS going to the doctor. It was a big shock to us when she hit 2 and the doctor said we didn't have to come back for a year! The bad thing about that is that when people ask you how tall she is or how much she weighs and you haven't been to the doctor in 9 months you really aren't that sure. So, for all of you who have asked about where she stands...
First, she's a big girl now. She stands on the scale, stands up against the measuring stick to see how tall she is, and has her blood pressure checked with the arm cuff. But most of all, she has to wear a gown during the visit. I think this was truly the highlight of her visit as she spent the entire time we waited for the doctor spinning circles in her gown.

She now weighs 31 lbs and is 3 ft, 1.25 inches tall. She is now holding steady near the 50th percentile which is a big achievement since she started out her life in the negative numbers on the percentile chart! Way to go big girl!
