Thanksgiving 2010
Zach should probably be the one writing this post since he's the one who actually spent Thanksgiving with Anna, but in the interest of timeliness I'll give it a shot!
Anna was lucky enough to get to travel to Ohio with Daddy to spend a week with Aunt Bridgie and Gaga over Thanksgiving. As it turned out, this also allowed Zach to be present for, and even conduct, his high school's choir in their first performance of their brand new alma mater, composed by Zach!
After a teary goodbye at the airport (on my behalf, not Anna's!) Daddy and Anna headed out on their big adventure. (If you ask Anna why I didn't go, she'll tell you "Mommy's tummy is too big to go on the airplane...")

Once in Ohio there was TONS of fun... dressing up as a shark and chasing people through the house, playing ping pong, making cornbread muffins, visits to Chuck E. Cheese and the Holiday Tree Festival and last but not least, some good old fashioned fun with the piles of leaves in the backyard.

By all accounts, the Mass and performance of the Alma Mater was a great success! Here's a video of the performance posted by the high school... Great job Zach!
So proud of her Daddy!

Thanksgiving Day

Anna and Zach flew home on Friday and celebrated a belated Thanksgiving here at home with Mommy, Nana, Papa, Aunt Bev and Mareesa. We were so happy to have them home!
