The Search for the Great Pumpkin

Our apologies for the lack of postings lately, but things have been pretty busy around here in the past few weeks. Both Zach and I have been working a lot (Zach's work meaning some nights away from home), Zach was out of town for a weekend, we traveled to Roseville for Baby William's baby shower and lots of other things. All the while, Anna has been fighting a pretty mean cold (which the whole family ended up getting) and even developed her first ear infection. And to top it all off, the infection is in both ears! She has been a real trooper though and actually loves her antibiotics!

So on Friday we decided we needed a fun outing for the family, and headed off to the local pumpkin patch so Anna could pick out her first pumpkin. She was mostly perplexed by the whole adventure but was absolutely thrilled with her free gourd we got for buying some pumpkins. As always, its the free thing that is the favorite!

Here are some photos from our big adventure! We're looking forward to Halloween!

I second that! Anna is just adorable! I am really surprised she stayed in that wagon and didn't try to escape; impressive.

;)

I can't wait for her to celebrate her first Halloween.
