Every Day is a New Adventure
One of the things we have learned as new parents is that every day is a new adventure. You never know what new skill your baby will show off, when they'll decided to sleep through the night, refuse to sleep or reach that new milestone. For example, after sleeping consistently until about 6am, the past few days Anna has decided that 4am is closer to her desired wake up time. While this h
as been less than exciting for Daddy G and I we are hoping it won't last too long. So this morning when she briefly woke at 4am then went right back to sleep we were pretty excited. The next time we heard her on the monitor make her wake up noises it was an hour later so we felt a little victory. However, one look at the monitor screen and we knew that we have now entered a new phase... apparently the little angel had not quite gone back to sleep and had spent that hour working on her grand escape from the double swaddle. (Yes, we swaddle her once, then one more time for added security) Now, she had done this before but Daddy and I thought we had stopped her by switching from the Swaddle Me to The Miracle Blanket. Turns out the Miracle blanket is not so miraculous for us these days... I present you with photos that show the result of her hour's work and give you a hint at what we fear we are headed for as she becomes more mobile! Wish us luck!
