COVID-19 Shelter in Place: Week 7 (April 25th-May 1st)

Week 7. The week our Shelter in Place order was extended through May 31st.  Some activities which were previously prohibited are now allowed again. Construction is one of them so we are crossing our fingers we can bring our project to completion soon! Still no kids activities outside of the house although we have one soccer coach who thinks it won't be too long until they can do some sort of activity together (not full contact soccer, but at least something).

Zach removed a pathway in the yard and discovered an ant colony. Kids thought it was SUPER cool.

Someone is outgrowing her clothes. Time to do some online shopping I guess.

Some questionable fashion happening around here

A new type of birthday celebration - a friend's Dad went to the local bundt cake shop and delivered individually packaged cakes to his daughter's close friends. Then they all had cake together over Zoom.

Our 14th Anniversary. Not the usual, for sure. But, we ordered takeout, used the candleholders from our wedding and ate in the dining room without kids.

We even got dressed.

In normal times, the kids would be wrapping up their soccer year, starting the tryout process for next year's teams. Obviously, things are working a bit different this year. Anna's team wanted to do something special for their Coach (and deliver his end of year gift from the girls). They organized a drive by parade of their Coach's house. It was super fun for everyone.
