San Francisco Stay-cation!

Between our schedules and traffic to/from the city we don't make it into San Francisco very often, especially with the kids. We had a few free long weekends this summer so we decided to take advantage and stay in the city for a few days.

Chinatown

We lucked into a visit up to the choir loft and met a visiting organist who was performing that night. He showed the kids the ropes...

The hotel has a great scavenger hunt for kids - one of the items was to introduce themselves to the doorman and get a photo with him. Check!

We took the opportunity to visit with an old neighbor while in the city! We miss the Mahabir family!

Day 2 we headed to the California Academy of Sciences - so fun!

And of course rode a cable car!

Day 3 we took a bus tour around the city to see as much as we could.
