Los Angeles Trip Part 1 - California Science Center

We took advantage of Anna's soccer moratorium to head down to Southern California for a few days at the end of June.

Interesting mode of transportation discovered at breakfast on Saturday morning!

On Saturday morning we headed to the California Science Center to see the Space Shuttle Endeavour up close!

The museum happens to be right next to the Coliseum, home to the USC Trojans. Our kids had to express their displeasure.

Ever wondered how astronauts use the restroom? They have a "space potty" on exhibit - Anna was quite amused :)

The main attraction. So amazing.

After our time in the Endeavour exhibit we explored the other areas of the museum, including an IMAX movie.

And somehow Andrew talked us into this....

That evening we met up with Zach's cousin Ben and his wife Bri for drinks at the Marina. It was a great day!
