Last Day of Summer Break

To celebrate the last day of Anna's summer break we headed down to Happy Hollow Zoo and Park in San Jose. Its a great little place - it has some rides, lots of little playgrounds, a petting zoo and animal exhibits. The kids had a blast!

We got there just as it opened and pretty much had the rides to ourselves for a while!

Anna's favorite - the mini roller coaster. Andrew didn't like it as much, proclaiming halfway through "Mom, this is making me feel sick....". We sat out Anna's next 4 rides on it:)

This was a sphere that you could spin on. Andrew had much fun getting it going, then jumping on. He was about 50/50 on whether he would managed to stay on or go flying off. He loved it!

It was a great summer - "the best summer EVER" - bring on school!
