Tale "Puzzle" as Time....
People who have known Anna for a while know that she went through a huge Beauty and Beast phase when she was 4. One of our favorite things about that time was her mis-heard lyrics to the song "Beauty and the Beast". She would enthusiastically sing "tale puzzle as time..." as she danced around the room with "Furry Beast" (seen below).
A few weeks ago Zach heard from an old friend who was working on the touring production of "Beauty and the Beast" as the show was in San Francisco for a few weeks. We were able to buy some of the "house" seats through her and she even offered to take us backstage after the show. So yesterday we headed into the city to revisit one of her favorite stories...
She thoroughly enjoyed the show, including the fact that she got to catch streamers that were shot into the audience during "Be Our Guest". As when we went to see Wicked, she was so serious while watching that we were concerned she didn't like it - turns out she just doesn't want to miss a thing!
After the show was over we headed down the side of the theater to the stage door (running into our friends Jessica and Sydney Huard on the way!). Anna got to see it all - the sets, the costumes - even Belle's infamous yellow dress! She may or may not have touched a few things... And definitely did a few twirls where Belle and the Beast do their dancing. Due to Disney's strict rules these are the only photos we could take but we think they're pretty awesome anyway. Thanks so much Caitlin for an great time.
