Train of Lights
Or perhaps I should say "Train of Chaos" :) Let's just say a train full of kids is a recipe for complete mayhem.
This year we decided to do the Niles Canyon Train of Lights with some great friends. One might think (as did Zach) that the train would take us to see Christmas lights. No. The train is what is decorated with lights. And yes, while you are on the train you can't see those lights, but it does look pretty amazing from the outside! The kids were pretty interested in the beginning but once we hit the mid point and turned back around (and it was getting dark outside) the kids started to lose their marbles ;)
Here are the highlights of our adventure. It remains to be seen if we'll be repeat visitors but if we do it again some "holiday cheer"for the adults seems will likely make and appearance!
Before we boarded the train Santa decided that Andrew would be just fine if he could just hold him...

All aboard!
This is what happens when a kid sees Santa just as you are about to take a photo
